MIPROGLASS 201 E - Glass Flake Filled Coating

MIPROGLASS 201 E is a premium-grade series of intermediate to heavy-duty linings and coatings specifically formulated for steel and concrete surfaces. These coatings are designed to provide long-term protection against corrosion, physical wear, and chemical attacks. The system consists of a trowel-applied base coat over a primer coat, followed by glass flake-filled topcoats that ensure exceptional chemical resistance, low permeation, and high physical durability. The coatings are available in various resin systems such as Isophthalic Polyester, Bisphenol Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Superior Vinyl Ester, Epoxy, and Hybrid Epoxy.

For optimal results, refer to the Surface Preparation and Installation Data Sheets available upon request. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and properly prepared prior to application.

Cure times vary based on ambient temperatures and the quantity of catalyst used. Generally, MIPROGLASS 201 E can be over-coated within 4–6 hours and achieves hardness within 8–12 hours. Full curing occurs after 72 hours, but light-duty service is possible after 24 hours.
