MIPRO-CP

MIPRO-CP is a two-component, chemical-setting cashew-phenolic-based mortar designed for acid-resistant brick lining. It provides reliable protection for commonly used construction materials such as RCC, MS, steel, and brick masonry against corrosive environments prevalent in modern chemical industries. MIPRO-CP offers exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents, withstanding temperatures of up to 170°C, making it a durable and versatile solution for industrial applications.

Proper preparation and application of MIPRO-CP are essential for achieving durability and resistance in corrosive environments. By ensuring that all materials are clean, dry, and compatible with the mortar, and by following precise application techniques, you can optimize the performance of the mortar and prevent common installation issues.

 

Application Guidelines:

  • Bricks or tiles must be clean, dry, and kept at the same temperature as MIPRO-CP.
  • Apply the mortar evenly on all sides for uniform bedding and jointing.
  • Use a slightly thicker application at the center to avoid air pocket formation.
  • Ensure joints are completely filled with mortar to their full depth.
  • Keep the area dry and protected from external factors and traffic to ensure proper setting and curing.

MIPRO-CP

MIPRO-CP offers excellent protection against a wide range of corrosive substances, including most acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, fats, and salts. However, it is not suitable for use in environments exposed to hydrofluoric acid (HF) or fluoride salts.

 

Storage & Shelf Life

To maintain the quality and effectiveness of MIPRO-CP, store the solution and powder in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. When kept in sealed containers and bags:

  • Solution: Shelf life is up to 12 months.
  • Powder: Shelf life is 4 to 5 months.

Safety Guidelines

It is highly recommended to wear appropriate protective gear when using MIPRO-CP or any other MIPRO brand products. In the event of contact with the skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately.
