MIPRO-MC is an inter-liner or open mastic flooring compound designed to protect concrete and ordinary brick surfaces from corrosive environments. It is primarily used as an underlayment for acid-resistant brick linings in floors, sumps, and tanks, and is commonly used in industries that deal with chemical spillages.
MIPRO-MC requires two coats of MIPRO-PR primer before application. After applying the primer, divide the area into equal bays to maintain even thickness. MIPRO-MC is then broken into small pieces and melted in a heating pan. The heated material should be applied with a wooden float to achieve a uniform, smooth surface. The recommended thickness ranges from 12mm to 25mm.
MIPRO-MC is resistant to weak and diluted acids, alkalis, and salts. However, it is not recommended for use against strong acids, oxidizing acids, solvents, oils, or fats.
Store MIPRO-MC in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and solvents. It has an unlimited shelf life under these conditions and is supplied in cake form, with each piece weighing approximately 10 kg.
Handle MIPRO-MC with care when heated. Avoid direct skin contact with the melted material, and wear appropriate protective gear during use. As with all MIPRO products, ensure adequate ventilation during application.
