MIPRO-POL

MIPRO-POL

MIPRO-POL is a three-component, chemically setting epoxy resin-based mortar that delivers superior adhesion to acid-resistant bricks, tiles, and concrete surfaces. It offers outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemicals, making it a versatile choice for various industrial applications where durability and chemical resistance are critical.

After properly mixing the components, butter the mortar onto the back and sides of the bricks or tiles to be installed. Apply a slightly thicker layer of mortar, then press the bricks or tiles into place, ensuring any excess mortar is squeezed out. For joint filling applications, ensure that the full depth of the joint is completely filled with mortar, leaving no air pockets. During and after installation, the area must remain dry and free from debris or any materials that could interfere with the setting and curing process of MIPRO-POL.

MIPRO-POL exhibits exceptional resistance to a variety of chemicals, including acids, salts, solvents, oils, and greases. Its performance in the presence of oxidizing chemicals makes it an ideal material for use in environments exposed to chlorine and bleaching solutions, as well as nitric and chromic acids. MIPRO-POL is widely used in industries such as paper and pulp manufacturing, as well as electroplating plants, where high chemical resistance is required for both bedding and jointing.

Storage & Shelf Life

For optimal performance, store the resin, hardener, and powder in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep them sealed in containers or bags to prevent contamination. Under proper storage conditions:

  • Resin, Hardener, and Powder: Shelf life is up to 12 months.

It is advisable to wear appropriate protective gear when handling MIPRO-POL and other MIPRO brand products. In the event of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor. Adequate ventilation in the work area is recommended to ensure a safe environment during application.
