MIPRO-S

MIPRO-S

MIPRO-S is a hot-pour, plasticized sulfur base compound designed primarily for use with acid-resistant bricks. It is widely used in environments requiring protection from aggressive chemicals, especially in industries such as steel, electroplating, and pickling operations. MIPRO-S helps protect surfaces like floors, sumps, and tanks from corrosion by filling joints in acid-resistant brick masonry.

To use MIPRO-S, break the bricks into small pieces and place them in a clean, dry heating pan. Gradually heat the material while stirring to ensure a smooth, free-flowing liquid. Pour the molten MIPRO-S between the joints of the acid-resistant bricks or tiles, ensuring no air pockets are trapped during installation.

MIPRO-S offers excellent protection against non-oxidizing acids, diluted oxidizing acids, and acidic and neutral salts at the recommended temperature. However, it is not suitable for use against alkalis, hydrofluoric acid, fluoride salts, or other strong reactive chemicals. For these cases, the carbon-filled version, MIPRO-S “C,” is recommended.

Storage & Shelf Life

MIPRO-S should be stored away from direct heat and moisture. When stored correctly in a cool, dry place, it can be kept indefinitely.

Always wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and eyewear when handling MIPRO-S. Ensure adequate ventilation while melting the material. Handle with care when hot. In case of inhalation of fumes, move the person to fresh air immediately. If MIPRO-S comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor.
